Fans will be able to see Timberlake perform in a new way this coming new year. Palmer is a story that follows the character Eddie Palmer, who is trying to move on from his troubled past. He seems to struggle to find what his purpose in life is until he makes a strong connection with a young boy, Sam. Sam faces bullying for being different from his peers, and has a difficult family life. Palmer tries his best to support him, despite what others may think about them. The official trailer for the upcoming film has just been released.

In the description of the official trailer, Apple TV+ provides a short synopsis of the movie: “After 12 years in prison, former high school football star Eddie Palmer returns home to put his life back together—and forms an unlikely bond with Sam, an outcast boy from a troubled home. But Eddie’s past threatens to ruin his new life and family.”

Timberlake recently shared how much this highly anticipated film means to him in a tweet. “First look at #PALMER directed by Fisher Stevens (script by Cheryl Guerriero),” he writes. “This story is really important to me and I’m proud to be part of it.”
