Lady Gaga Joins the Star-Studded and Diverse Cast of Sony’s ‘Bullet Train’

With Brad Pitt already on board, Gaga will join a cast of certified action stars to craft this action-thriller.
Bullet Train will be an adaptation of the novel Maria Beetle which centers around several assassins on a train in Tokyo. While we don’t know too much about the exact plot details, we do know who has been cast in the film so far.

The film will star Brad Pitt who’s had his fair share of action films, as well as Aaron Taylor Johnson who is most known for playing Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Next is Zazie Beetz who got her start in Deadpool 2 and then went on to Joker in terms of action films. She was also an alumnus of the TV show Atlanta, which she shares with actor Brian Tyree Henry.

While Joey King has had her fair share of horror, drama, and comedy, she has never gotten a chance at an action film like this one. Rounding out the list of influential actors, Michael Shannon takes the cake with two Academy Award nominations; you may remember him as Walt Thrombey from Knives Out.

The film is being directed by David Leitch who got his hands dirty on the set of John Wick which led to a resume of directing films like Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, and Fast & Furious Presents Hobbes & Shaw. While the film is still a long way from production, the structure of the cast and crew seems promising for its first steps.
