There is nothing this singer-songwriter can’t do. Halsey recently added actress to her list of titles when she joined the cast of The Player’s Table and now she is officially an author with the release of her first poetry book, which is a total of 144 pages.

In I Would Leave Me If I Could, Halsey reveals never-before-seen poetry of longing, love, and the nuances of bipolar disorder. She uses this debut collection to bare her soul. Bringing the same artistry found in her lyrics, Halsey’s poems delve into the highs and lows of doomed relationships, family ties, sexuality, and mental illness.

More hand grenades than confessions, these autobiographical poems explore and dismantle conventional notions of what it means to be a feminist in search of power. The book cover painting, American Woman, was also done by Halsey.

To get fans even more excited for this very personal release, she shared the table of contents for the book on social media. The author calls the book her “favorite thing I’ve ever made.”

Halsey is also having a live stream event for the release of her book with special guest Orion Carloto at 6 PM-7 PM EST. To receive a ticket, you must preorder I Would Leave Me If I Could and submit proof of purchase then request a ticket here.
