‘Wonder Woman’ Star, Gal Gadot, Will Be Portraying ‘Cleopatra’ in Upcoming Film, Directed by Patty Jenkins
Wonder Woman star, Gal Gadot, announces she will be working with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, in her upcoming film about Egyptian ruler, Cleopatra.
On Sunday, October 11, Israeli actress Gal Gadot, known for her role as Wonder Woman in the recent DC Wonder Woman movies, announced on social media that she will be portraying Cleopatra in an upcoming film project. Gadot will also be working alongside her friend and director of both Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984, Patty Jenkins.

In her social media posts, Gadot told fans that she has dreamt of bringing the story of Cleopatra to life for some time now. Gadot was also very excited to tell fans that this story of Cleopatra, will be like none ever told before on the big screen, as the focus will be on telling Cleopatra’s journey, as Gadot says herself, “through women’s eyes, both behind and in front of the camera.”
