According to Revolt’s article, the music video was “produced by Alex Niceforo, OAK, and Keith Sorrells. The track takes from DeBarge’s heavily-sampled classic “A Dream” and sees the two artists harmonizing about a more than toxic relationship.”

We can see the nature of the toxic relationship in the chorus lyrics itself, with Queen Naija harmoniously singing:

“Love me good and lie to me
Don’t want broken promises, don’t want apologies
I don’t wanna be the one complainin’
Long as you don’t see nobody that I hang with (Love me, love me good)
Yeah, love me good and lie to me
Don’t want broken promises, don’t want apologies
Long as you don’t see nobody that I hang with
They don’t understand our arrangement.”

Make sure to check out this fun song that’s perfect for listening to when you’re in the mood for chill RnB. Also, make sure to support Queen Naija on her upcoming projects and music.
