Andie MacDowell and Margaret Qualley, a real-life mother-daughter duo, will be playing in the new series Maid.

Andie MacDowell and Margaret Qualley are set to star in the series Maid as a mother-daughter duo. This will be their first time sharing the screen, and they will be bringing their real-life dynamic to set. You may know Andie MacDowell as a former fashion model or her iconic character in Groundhog Day, a film where a T.V reporter finds himself living the same day (Groundhog Day) over and over again. She has also starred in acclaimed movies such as Magic Mike XXL, Footloose, and many more.

Margaret Qualley is Andie MacDowell’s daughter, who has also pursued a career in modeling and acting. She will be standing by the side of her mother in the movie Maids. You may have recognized her from HBO’s The Leftovers or Netflix’s Deathnote. However, her wide-known success came from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, directed by Quentin Tarantino.

The Maid follows a single mother, Qualley, who becomes a housekeeper to provide for her family. It shows her battle with poverty, homelessness, and the struggle of being a low-income single mother. MacDowell will be starring as Paula, an artist with frequent boyfriends who hides her inner demons with her lively ‘life of the party’ personality.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the series began filming in Vancouver but came to a stop due to COVID. There is no set release date, but we are excited about what is to come.
