Mädchen Amick Shares a First Table Read Selfie With ‘Riverdale’ Cast
The Riverdale first table read selfie tradition continues, even if it looks a little different this time.
With filming and production being so different when it comes to TV and film due to the pandemic, it’s nice to see some traditions not changing. Despite table reads being done over Zoom, Mädchen Amick (Alice Cooper) kept a tradition alive by posting a selfie of with the cast at the first table read to social media.
Our #riverdale first table read selfie tradition is a lil different this year 🤷🏼♀️ Grateful & excited to be back and can’t wait to squeeze these faces in person!!!! (bummed you can’t see everyone in the gallery grid but they’re there!) https://t.co/vXqrlHkEhP pic.twitter.com/LsiGlY4lj1

Unfortunately, you cannot see everyone’s face, but along with Amick and creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, you can see cast members KJ Apa (Archie Andrews), Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge), Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones), Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper), Vanessa Morgan (Toni Topaz), Casey Cott (Kevin Keller), and Mark Consuelos (Hiram Lodge).
Fans were so happy to see the cast back together, even if it was just over zoom, and are glad that all of these safety precautions are being taken while they create season five.
can’t wait to see what season five has in store! hope you all stay safe and healthy this season💗

While the cast all posted plenty of selfies during the filming of season one, the table read selfie tradition started in season two of the series.

Amick also posted a selfie from the last table read of season two.
The season four table read cast selfie was missing beloved cast member Luke Perry, who played Fred Andrews on the show. Amick honored him with the caption, “There was nothing but love, memories and mourning for our beloved Luke as we honor him in our first episode back.” The first episode served as a tribute to the late actor.

Amick also recently made her directorial debut on the show with the season four finale.
