CBS All Access Celebrates ‘Star Trek Day’ With Free Streaming of All Things ‘Star Trek’

Star Trek fans around the globe are celebrating Sept. 8 as national Star Trek Day.

Fans and celebrities have taken to social media to celebrate the hit sci-fi show, Star Trek. Fans have been posting photos and videos of the show, captioning their posts with the hashtag, #StarTrekDay.

To commemorate the series, CBS All Access has also allowed all-day free streaming of the show and movies. Streaming started at midnight and fans could not be more excited.

CBS All Access has a full itinerary for the day which includes when certain episodes will be airing, as well as a special guest panel with actors such as Patrick Stewart, who played Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: Next Generation as well as appearing in the same role in films such as Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Nemesis. Other stars include Geroge Takei, who played Hikaru Sulu in Star Trek: The Original Series. Many more stars who have set foot on the Starship Enterprise will also be stopping by to talk during the panel.
