ABC is raising awareness for the upcoming presidential election by airing a new comedy special, VOMO: Vote or Miss Out

The one-hour special will encourage those to vote by featuring a wide range of artists, activists, and comedians. The performances will include musical numbers, comedy pieces, and stand-up acts, while also informing audiences on the changes in the voting process this year due to COVID-19.

Host Kevin Hart will be joined by fellow comedians Jay Leno, Will Ferrell, Tim Allen, Cristela Alonzo, and Whitney Cummings. As well as musicians 2 Chainz, Willow and Jaden Smith and Lil Baby, and actors Scarlett Johansson, Tiffany Haddish, Liza Koshy, and Jon Hamm.

Political figures like former first lady Michelle Obama, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, and more will make appearances providing information on voter registration and bringing awareness to voting during the pandemic.

VOMO is a non-partisan event co-created by media company ATTN, Sara + Tom TV, Done+Dusted, and When We All Vote, a nonprofit whose mission according to their website is to “Increase voter participation in every election and close the race and age voting gap by changing the culture around voting, harnessing grassroots energy, and through strategic partnerships to reach every American.”

VOMO will be presented by T-Mobile on Monday, Sept. 14, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC network, following the premiere of season 29 of Dancing with the Stars. Please visit vote.org more information on registering to vote for the 2020 election.
