Bachelorette Clare Crawley refuses to hand out roses to men that will not respect her as a woman.

ABC released their newest Bachelorette promo on August 31, featuring the gorgeous Clare Crawley in a beautiful fitted-white gown and happily dancing on roses while Keke Palmer‘s rendition of Aretha Franklin‘s “Respect” played in the background.

“I’ve been down this road before,” says Crawley, 39, she was first introduced to Bachelor Nation on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season 18 of The Bachelor, on which she was the runner-up.

The promo shows Crawley walking over footage from her failed relationship with Galavis which aired in 2014. The video relieves her infamous moment when she pushed Galavis away when he tried to embrace her during the finale, after being blindsided with their breakup.

Throughout the whole season, Crawley and Galavis, had an unstable relationship as he made an offensive comment to her on their final one-on-one date that referred to their hookup in the ocean.

Bachelor Nation will remember when she famously called him out for his lack of remorse towards her heartbreak, after dumping Crawley for Nikki Ferrell. “I lost respect for you. I thought I knew what kind of man you were,” Crawley said at the time. “What you just made me go through, I would never want my children having a father like you.”

This year of 2020, Crawley demands R-E-S-P-E-C-T on her Bachelorette journey to find love.

As reported by E! News, when season 16 of Bachelorette returns, there will be two women, Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams, searching for love and a potential husband.

The season will begin with Crawley’s short journey as she exits the show after finding love within two weeks of filming, then begins with Adam’s search. You can read more about this dramatic replacement here. The Bachelorette returns on ABC Tuesday, October 13, at 8 p.m. ET.
