After three long decades, E! News is finally coming to an end due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the end of the entertainment show is due to the financial fallout caused by the pandemic. The network’s two NYC based shows E!’s Pop Of The Morning and In The Room is also canceled. E! News and E!’s Pop Of The Morning was hosted by Lilliana Vazquez and Scott Tweedie. Vazquez acknowledged the cancellation of the show and took to Instagram and wrote, “See. I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. Revelations 3:8. Thankful for this incredible adventure and I will miss this team and crew beyond belief. Yes…even the 4 am call time. Con mucho mucho amor. ”

On Tuesday, the network’s parent company NBC Universal reported that it will be making cutbacks, and E! News is deeply affected by that. NBC Universal is planning to change its programming and trying to restructure internally to run the program more smoothly.

All of E!’s studio production will be concentrated in Los Angeles.
