Amid Black Lives Matter, beauty brands worldwide have been under attack for pushing Eurocentric beauty standards and failing to champion all consumers. Historically, beauty brand ambassadors have been disproportionately caucasian, a poor representation of a company’s clientele. The Vietnamese-American star of the To All the Boys franchise has been extremely vocal about representation and diversity, especially in the cinematic sphere.
