With catchy music that will undoubtedly be added to our playlists, this comedy is everything we need to get through quarantine. Since the film was released on Friday, June 26, the soundtrack on Spotify has received over 8 thousand likes.

Co-writer Will Ferrell became inspired after viewing the Eurovision Song Contest, broadcasted in Europe and is the world’s longest-running musical television series, introduced to him by his Swedish-native wife in 1999. Since then, Ferrell has been hooked on the European sensation, attending the competitions, and learning about the process of how musicians prepare for the big night. Some of Eurovision’s most talented contestants make a cameo in the film and bring the magic of the contest show to the film.
