Long-awaited by fans, Chromatica features 16 tracks, including her single ‘Stupid Love’ and her collaboration with Ariana Grande, ‘Rain on Me’. The album, produced by BloodPop, also features collaborations with Elton John and Blackpink. She also worked with an impressive slate of producers like Skrillex and Max Martin. This is Lady Gaga’s first album since Joanne, which was released in 2016.

The album, which was initially scheduled to launch in early April, was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She first teased the release in March of last year.

Some are considering this album a return to the artist’s dance-pop roots. Others claim that her lyrics are a reimagination of the style that made her an international phenomenon. In contrast to Joanne, which was visually simple and characterized with a folk-like sound, Chromatica is rich in visuals and boasts a collection of high-energy dance anthems. The album is similar to Lady Gaga’s early work like Born This Way. Fans are delighted to hear Gaga return to electro-pop, while also enjoying Gaga’s deeply personal songwriting.
