As more news of the virus appears, people are using social media to share different ways we can all help to stop the virus. Matthew McConaughey posted a video on his Twitter asking for unity as the world deals with this pandemic. He expressed how through all the uncertainty and tough times ahead, it is important that we all stick together.

McConaughey asks that everyone puts their differences aside to fight the common enemy: coronavirus. He says we have to be dependent on each other because the virus is “faceless, raceless, sexless, non-denominational and bipartisan.” If we all agree to band together, we can defeat it.

He states that “Every red light eventually turns green.” While the country will eventually be on standstill with businesses closing and everyone staying indoors, we have to remember that there is hope it will get better. It may not be tomorrow or next week, but it will happen as long as we take the necessary precautions. Of course, many people agree with McConaughey and thank him for sharing that important message.
