The wonderful Kacey Musgraves joined James Corden giving us all the Christmas vibes we did not know we needed on his ‘Late Late Show’ Thursday night.

The two rang in the holiday season by performing an on-set Christmas musical containing 14 classics we all know and love. The performance only needed one take while using nine sets because they are just that good. The two really brought this love story to life by harmonizing together in the best way possible.

The segment was inspired by a variety of holiday classics we never get tired of binging, like “Last Christmas” and “Love, Actually.” The bit kicks off with Musgraves dressed as an elf singing “Jingle Bell Rock” while decorating a tree. When leaving the shop, she runs into Corden on the street where they duet Justin Bieber’s “Mistletoe” sparking the beginning of their very own Christmas Love Story.

This fun-filled musical consisted of songs that made me want to sing along like, “Wonderful Christmastime,” “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),”  “Blue Christmas,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and the list goes on. Musgraves even performed one of her own Christmas tunes, “Christmas Makes Me Cry.” Musgraves and Corden  presented us a vivacious Christmas performance to ring in the holiday season while setting our spirits high.

Musgraves recently debuted her holiday show an Amazon Prime Video special, The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show. The show is produced by Musgraves herself featuring many celebs and even her sweet grandmother.
