DaBaby invites the infamous Jabbawockeez in his music video for “BOP”.

Hailing from Charlotte, DaBaby has had some of the dopest visuals for his music this year. He gives his fans so much content, dropping two albums in just this year alone. His latest album Kirk included features by Chance the Rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, and many more. The popular single “BOP on Broadway” was on his newest album, Kirk, that was released in September of this year.

The visual for “BOP” is directed by Reel Goats, “a three-man directing crew that Baby relies on to bring his vision to the small screen.” The video was shot on Paramount’s studio lot. The “Broadway hip-hop musical” begins with DaBaby running away from the cops. In his journey he discovers a small group of people dancing and he joins them. Then out of the crowd comes the Jabbawokeez.

Now some people know the Jabbawokeez for sporting masks and performing intricate dance moves in unison. Others may recognize them from America’s Best Dance Crew appearances. In the video, they get the crowd riled up with their grooves. The video ends with “to be continued,” insinuating that there will be a sequel to this work.

In the description, DaBaby gives thanks to those involved. “Shoutout every single dancer that came out to be great,” he wrote. “Shout Cherry and Danileigh for the Choreography. Much love to Paramount for letting us run wild on their studio lot.” We are anticipating the next Reel Goats and DaBaby collab. In the mean time, check out “KIRK” on all streaming platforms and the tour dates for the album.
