BREAK THE STIGMA. 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem this year. This isn’t just a statistic this is real life. Real people can’t speak up about what they’re going through because of the stigma around mental health. Real people can’t identify their symptoms. Real people don’t have access to therapy. Real people have been on the waiting list for weeks, months, years. On mental health day we urge you to educate yourself about how your country/city deals with mental health. Write to your government asking for a change we can’t be ignored any longer. Art by @letstalkaboutmentalhealth
Despite the name, ‘Gurls Talk’ welcomes all. The website highlights this fact and emphasizes that there are no outsiders and the community is open to everyone.
To all the Gurls who want to be heard, we are here and we are listening. To all the Gurls who need support, we are here and ready to hold you up. To all the Gurls who just need to a place to be themselves, welcome to Gurls Talk.
