Keep an Eye out for Sam Smith’s New Album

EMI

Sam Smith has announced they will be releasing a pop-driven follow-up to their 2017 album, “The Thrill Of It All”, and it will arrive next year.

In a recent interview, Smith expressed excitement about their upcoming record, which will land sometime in 2020. The singer also confirmed that their newest project will feature fewer ballads and more pop-like tracks, shortly after the release of the singles “How Do You Sleep?” and”Dancing With A Stranger”, featuring Normani.

The artist continued to display enthusiasm to write new music following a collaboration with fellow star Calvin Harris, back on their 2018 project “Promises”. Sam Smith stated that they just naturally fell back into writing and getting in the studio.

Later the award-winning superstar posted a photo on twitter of how they are currently writing the new album.

With all the projects Smith has just dropped, such as their collaboration with Renée Zellweger for the iconic new biopic “Judy”,  the excitement for their new project is growing stronger. While there is not an exact date for the project’s release next year, we all look forward to this exciting new chapter for Sam Smith.
