Chance The Rapper talks former president Barack Obama, bad rap verses and vegetables with James Corden as they cruise through the streets of Los Angeles in a hilarious episode of “Carpool Karaoke.”The episode starts off with Chance The Rapper and James Corden engaging in a rap-a-long to “All day Long,” the introduction track featured on the rapper’s first studio album, The Big Day. Corden is a pro with his impressive abilities to keep up with rappers’ fast wordplay and upbeat tempo as they groove to the music and hit the road.

Corden jumps right in with his first question regarding the rapper’s relationship with Barack Obama. Chance shares a cool fact about actually interning as a phone banker for the Obama campaign years ago. Chance shares, ” I don’t have a number for him but I have a number for him… I have a person I could call that will say ‘OK, I will have him call you.’ It’s the same with JAY-Z. JAY-Z and Barack Obama are very, very similar.”

The rapping duet proceeds to sing-along to other hits from Chances’ album The Big Day as Corden pulls out the ultimate surprise for Chance, raw vegetables. It’s a known fact that the “Big Fish” rapper does not like nor participate in any vegetable eating activities… unless it involves lettuce on a burger, of course. Corden blindfolds Chance and feeds him raw carrots and celery. But not to worry, Chance was not harmed in the making of the video.
