The trilogy of singles released this year follows the release of his 2018 GRAMMY nominated sophomore album Voicenotes. The successful album, Voicenotes, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200, and received an RIAA gold certification within four days of release. The album garnered over 3.3 billion global streams and included the 4x Platinum smash Top 40 hit “Attention.” The album also featured certified gold singles “The Way I Am” and “Done For Me.” The gold selling album was supported by Puth’s headline Voicenotes Tour, which held sold-out shows in North America and Asia.
Puth has had successful solo career since appearing on the Wiz Khalifa’s 3x-GRAMMY and Golden Globe nominated single track “See You Again” which was co-wrote and produced by Puth himself. The song became one of the decade’s biggest releases and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks, becoming the best-selling song of the that year, and received a diamond RIAA certification. Puth then released his debut platinum certified album Nine Track Mind, which included the 4x-platinum hit “We Don’t Talk Anymore” and “One Call Away” and the 3x-platinum “Marvin Gaye.”
Puth has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry and that he is an artist that listeners should keep an eye on. We know we will.
