Leonardo DiCaprio Partnered with Lil Dicky, Ariana Grande, + More to Create ‘Earth’ Song
It’s a catchy song for a great cause.
Leonardo DiCaprio, besides being an exceptional, Oscar-winning actor, has always been a big advocate of environmental protection. However, sometimes just being Leonardo DiCaprio is not enough to spread the word and get people to listen. In order to get a wider reach, the actor has partnered with musician Lil Dicky to create a song titled “Earth”. The song is all about how we should love our earth and protect it because global warming is very real. It emphasizes that we should join together in order to protect the one thing we all have in common, our planet.
Although the partnership between Leo and Lil Dicky is already great, they recruited a lot of our faves to be part of the song. Contributors to the song included Ariana Grande, Halsey, Zac Brown, Brendon Urie, Hailee Steinfeld, Lil Jon, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart, Adam Levine, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Sia, Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Rita Ora, Miguel, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Lil Yachty, Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor, Joel Embiid, Tory Lanez, Backstreet Boys, John Legend, Psy, Bad Bunny, and Kris Wu.

The song is actually quite catching and the animated video released alongside it is charming and kind of funny. At the end of the song, Lil Dicky appears talking to Leonardo DiCaprio and Leo describes the song as his “favorite song ever”. This ambitious song collaboration is definitely one for the books. The best part is that “Net profits from the song, video, and merchandise will go to many Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation partners on the frontlines of implementing solutions to climate change”. So let’s go listen to the song and change the world for the better.
