Keiynan Lonsdale and Ezra Miller Posed for Vogue’s Met Gala Issue

The Australian and American artists teamed up for an iconic camp themed shoot promoting the Met Gala 2019. Vogue is the one stop shop when it comes to getting information about the biggest fashion event of the year, the Met Gala. They have the ins, outs and upside downs. One of their upcoming features is set to analyze the theme for the 2019 gala, “Note on Camp” and it will be featuring fabulous modeling done by both Keiynan Lonsdale and Ezra Miller. The two got together for a whimsical campy shoot to be featured in the next spread.

Camp is an incredibly fun concept to bring to life in the world of fashion. The essay the theme is drawn from, Susan Sontag’s “Note on Camp” defines camp as “being a sensibility marked by performance, excess, and a kind of winking bad taste, exemplified by figures like Oscar Wilde and outré aesthetic movements such as Art Nouveau.” Needless to say, the photoshoot had a lot to draw from and it was phenomenal. Make sure you take a look at the photos because they’re inspiring.

The Met Gala will be held on May 6th, so make sure you keep your eyes out for all of the iconic fashion.
