See Isabela Moner as Dora in Her Brand New Movie

You may remember Dora the Explorer, but not like this!  Dora the Explorer was one of the most memorable children’s shows among this generation. It was fun for kids. We got to go on adventures, practice basic math and English, and learn a bit of Spanish along the way. So many people love Dora and Boots, and you may even be singing the theme song in your head right now!

Well, it has been five years since the last episode aired on Nickelodeon, and they came back with something entirely different. We are now seeing our first look at live-action Dora! The trailer for Dora and the Lost City of Gold was released on March 23rd and it was full of nostalgia and new excitement.

The new movie looks to showcase Dora, played by Isabela Moner, attending high school for the first time. Who would have known that the city is scarier than the jungle? Through some mishaps and kidnappings, Dora and her new friends end up on a mission to save her parents and uncover a lost city made entirely of gold. It looks like an adventure full of fun and authenticity.

The movie will also star Eugenio Derbez, Michael Pena, Eva Longoria, Danny Trejo, and Benicio Del Toro just to name a few.  With this amount of talent, it is sure to be great! Dora and the Lost City of Gold will hit theatres in August.
