The half-hour episode honored the “Purple Rain” singer and his music. In an effort to convince Jack (Miles Brown) and Diane (Masai Martin) of Prince’s majesty, the Johnson family recreated some of Prince’s most iconic videos and showcased his legacy and the mark that he has left in the music industry and people’s lives through his music and activism.
