Lush Launches 40 Shades of Vegan Foundation
Lush is stepping into the makeup realm with 40 shades of vegan and cruelty-free foundation.
Having 40 shades alone makes beauty purchases so much more inclusive, but Lush brings it to another level by making the product vegan as well.
Secret’s out now isn’t it! Slap Stick Solid Foundation, 40 shades, not a pump or bottle in sight. Their first outing is this Friday online through #lushlabs Created through a lot of hard work by our product inventor @kathleenjneary, very proud 👏 second picture is Jemma’s, how she stores hers, time to get inventive and see what you can reuse that works for you #lushmakeup
This will be the first time Lush drops a foundation, as we all really know them for their whimsical bath bombs that make our skin feel flawless. Their foundation will be called Slap Sticks. The sticks will come in warm, neutral, and cool undertones. And, if you know anything about Lush’s bath bombs, then it won’t surprise to hear about the Slap Stick formula. It consists of hydrating extra virgin coconut oil, jojoba oil, and a mixture of candelilla, sunflower, and Turkish rose waxes.
Calling all makeup lovers! The #LushMakeup Swatch Shop is now open at the Lush Soho Studio for you to find your #SlapStick shade, ahead of the online release this Friday (29th June). Only five minutes from #LushOxfordStreet, it is open Mon-Fri: 11-7, Sat: 10-6 and Sun: 12-6 until the 6th of July 😍🙌🏻
And to stay in line with their eco-friendly packaging, the foundation will include peelable wax at the bottom of the stick, that way you can still hold the product.
But there is one situation. The Lush foundation is set to launch July 29, but there is a production delay in the U.S. We are hoping it will be very soon as the foundations are also a limited edition for just one month.
