GLITTER: What made you want to start acting?
MONTANA: Honestly, I kinda just fell into it. I was living my 12-year-old life when my mom brought up the idea of potentially starring in a film, and the rest is history.

GLITTER: Young Sheldon premiered back in 2017 and is now on its fourth season. What has that journey been like for you?
MONTANA: The journey has been amazing! I’m blessed and thankful to be in the position I’m in today; getting to work with such amazing people, from my castmates to everyone behind the scenes, is just everything I could have asked for.

GLITTER: What originally attracted you to the project?
MONTANA: When I first read the role of Georgie, I thought I was reading an autobiography. Everything lined up to my life back in Texas. I played football, and I always got in trouble for having a messy room. I mean I could sit here and name 100 things that me and Georgie have in common.

GLITTER: What is your favorite part of playing Georgie?
MONTANA: For me, the coolest part would be being able to play an older brother. I have two older sisters in real life, so I was always the youngest with them picking on me, but oh, how the tables have turned for this project. Missy and Sheldon better watch out.

GLITTER: Are you more similar or different to Georgie in real life, and how so?
MONTANA: Let me put it this way. Georgie and I would be tearing up the town together in real life.

GLITTER: If you could pick a storyline for the show to do either for your character or the show as a whole, what would you want them to do?
MONTANA: I think it would be cool to see the family doing extra jobs to save up money to afford a family vacation. Georgie works more hours. Sheldon and Missy start a lemonade stand. Mary gets another part-time job. George just does what he does because, as we all know, George’s schedule is full due to his relationship with lone star beer.

GLITTER: The series is a prequel to The Big Bang Theory, which is an iconic show. Are you a fan of the series?
MONTANA: As crazy as it sounds now that I’m on T.V., I’ve never been a kid to sit down and watch T.V…believe it or not, I still don’t. So, I haven’t watched The Big Bang Theory, but I’ve heard about how great the show was.

GLITTER: Taking on this role, what was your approach, since another version of the character already existed in The Big Bang Theory?
MONTANA: Well, for my character, he wasn’t in The Big Bang Theory until Young Sheldon had already started, so I have a feeling they built the character around me in real life.

GLITTER: Any fun or memorable on-set memories you can share?
MONTANA: Working With such amazing cast members, there’s never a dull moment. There are too many great memories to name.

GLITTER: If you had to use a film quote to describe yourself/your personality, which would you pick and why?
MONTANA: This is a tough one for me because, like I said, I’m not much of a T.V. watcher, but when I was younger, I used to have Little Rascals on repeat. So to answer your question, it would be, “I’m usually a lover, not a fighter, but in your case, I’m willing to make an exception.” That’s the exact line to, trust me, I watched it several times a day for years.

GLITTER: How did you stay fit and motivated during this time?
MONTANA: When it comes to fitness, I’m all about it. You know how people say, “Summer is coming up. I better start working on my beach body.” Well, my summertime is year-round.

GLITTER: What was your favorite part about having all of that free time? Did you learn anything about yourself during it?
MONTANA: It’s impossible for me to get bored. I’ve never been bored in my life. I’m always doing things to not only better myself but also set me up to better my future.

GLITTER: The best piece of acting advice you’ve received?
MONTANA: I’ve worked with some great role models with great advice, but it would be wrong for me to pick out just one.

GLITTER: What would be considered a dream role for you?
MONTANA: I don’t really have a dream role, and if I did, it would be the role I’m playing right now. I just don’t think it could get any better than this show.

GLITTER: Any hidden talents?
MONTANA: Well, growing up in Texas, you kinda find your way around. If a car breaks down, you fix it. If something breaks, you fix it. So I’ve carried that with me, so I spend my extra time working on my vehicles and building stuff in my shop.

GLITTER: What’s at the top of your most recent playlist?
MONTANA: That would most likely be some Hank Williams Jr.
