The Biden-Harris presidential campaign is calling upon Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, and the Russo Brothers for a virtual fundraising event.

The event will be a Q&A style video call between the Marvel stars and Kamala Harris while they ask her about policies. Of course, trivia will be thrown in as Harris is a big Marvel fan herself; we’ll see if she can hold up against these legends.

This event will be hosted on October 20 at 6:45 PM Eastern. All you need to do to join is go to this link and donate any amount to the campaign you’d like. After that, you’ll automatically get a link to the stream. The donations will go towards the Democratic candidates all over the country as well as towards the Presidential election.

For Marvel fans, this event marks one of the first times we have seen all of these celebrities on one screen since Avengers: Endgame. The panel will include Captain America (Evans), Black Widow (Johansson), Hulk (Ruffalo), War Machine (Cheadle), Gamora (Saldana), and everyone’s favorite Ant-Man (Rudd). This list is not complete without the geniuses behind the camera, Joe and Anthony Russo who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity Wars, and Avengers: Endgame.

This year has been a record-setting year for the Democratic campaign as they earned $364 million just through August 2020 alone. What makes this number even more astronomical is that fact it was made through grassroots efforts; meaning they were made by a regular citizen rather than a giant donor organization or wealthy individual. At one point, the average donation size was $19.08, as in the year 1908 when Harris’s sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha was founded, as her sisters showed their support.

According to the Los Angeles Times, “in the quarter that closed Sept. 30, Biden raised $383 million — $125 million more than Trump.”

It’s possible this event can certainly boost the Biden-Harris campaign and it will definitely be trending on Twitter for whatever type of fun and chaos ensues.
