Grimes Teases New Music
On Aug. 13, Grimes posted a video on Instagram featuring shots of her in a rural landscape with various sound effects and musical elements making up the background noise.
The video seems to be part of a promotion for Stella McCartney’s Adidas collaboration, of which Grimes has been modelling for.
The caption for the Instagram video, however, announces that Grimes will be releasing the first single from her new album on Sept. 13, and the new album will be titled Miss Anthropocene.
Fans on Twitter are already enthusiastically responding to the prospect of new music.

Her last full-length album, Art Angels, was released in 2015. This year, Grimes has released two singles, “Pretty Dark (Demo),” and “We Appreciate Power.”
Although the new album doesn’t yet have a release date, Grimes has commented that it will be “a concept album about the anthropomorphic goddess of climate change.”
