Yael Grobglas, who played Petra Solano, shared the tearful last table read for Jane the Virgin and we could not help but tear up as well. As the cast starts the final table read for the series the writer, Jennie Snyder Urman tells the cast how thankful and grateful she is for all of them and this experience they got to share together.

Watching the table read will take you on an emotional journey. It is upsetting that this amazing show has come to an end but you can also feel the love that the cast has for one another and for the show through the videos. Throughout the table read there are many tears, laughs and loving glances shared. Many tissues were passed around the table and we understand because we certainly needed them just watching the videos that Yael posted.

At the end of the table read the cast stands up and gives Jennie a standing ovation and she starts to cry. Gina Rodriguez, who plays Jane Villanueva, ran to Jennie to give her a hug. This one hug turns into a beautiful group hug with the entire cast.

Jane the Virgin. Wow. We started shooting the first season of Jane in July 2014. A few days into shooting I turned 30 on set. Yesterday I turned 35. And today is the very last episodes, 99 and 100 airing of Jane The Virgin. Five years. Five years of love, laughter, growth, pain, surprises, deaths, new births and a shit ton of memories. To my warriors who have supported me from day one, Thank you. I am able to live out my dream career because of you and I will never stop making art to bring Joy and Laughter into your home/train ride/plane ride or classroom! Art is my savior. Art is what makes me feel like I can fly. Thank you to Jennie for making me your Jane and to the incredible cast for becoming my family. I will always love you Jane. Hope you tune in tonight and enjoy our goodbye! 📸 by my mentor and one of the best in the biz @bradsilberling

Even though we are sad Jane the Virgin had to come to an end we are grateful that it happened. The show taught us a lot about love, friendship, family and touched on a lot of difficult topics.
