Lucy Hale’s Yosemite National Park Visit Will Make You Want to Go There Too

Instagram

Actress Lucy Hale visited Yosemite National Park in California recently and produced some amazing photos of the granite monoliths. But even better, she opened up about the mental reprieve she experienced while roaming the National Park. She talked about how life can be draining, how she deals with exhaustion and feelings of anxiety, and how the magic of her surroundings helped her find peace.

“It’s completely okay to tune out the people, the phones, all the noise…So much is swirling around us and often we miss important moments. I got to experience complete peace and quiet the last few days. It was good for my soul. And if you take anything from this, I want you to do the same for yourself,” said Lucy alongside an Instagram video.

One more because this was magical. I’m in awe of everything I experienced the last few days. •Life and people can be complicated and exhausting. I know all of you can relate to feeling overwhelmed or underwhelmed at what’s going on around us. We all experience life and it’s complications, the ups & downs in very different ways. It’s very important to check out and put things into perspective. Life is so fragile and so beautiful and often we take it for granted. Things can change in an instant and it’s vital to hold onto what we can.• Im going to be honest , I’m an extremely anxious person. I worry about anything & everything. I worry about things that haven’t even happened. I take on other people’s worries. I would even go to say that my anxiety controls my life on certain days. It’s very frustrating and I know so many of you can relate and understand. My point in saying all this is that I want to remind all of you that it’s okay to slow down. It’s completely okay to tune out the people, the phones, all the noise…So much is swirling around us and often we miss important moments. I got to experience complete peace and quiet the last few days. It was good for my soul. And if you take anything from this, I want you to do the same for yourself ❤️

In the video, you can see Half Dome in the distance, El Capitan on the left, and the Leaning Tower and Bridalveil Fall on the right. Lucy also posted a beautiful photo from a point called Cloud’s Rest, pointing at Half Dome in the distance.

Lucy’s post is a great reminder to take some time for yourself and get out into nature this summer if you have the chance. Sometimes it is the simple things that do the most for our mindsets.
