Keep up with the Monterey Five in “Big Little Lies” This Summer

This summer “Big Little Lies” is keeping us entertained on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO. The episode that just aired on June 30th is the fourth episode in season two and titled, “She Knows.” In this episode, Celeste, who is played by Nicole Kidman, accuses Mary Louise (portrayed by Meryl Streep), of overstepping boundaries with Jane (Shailene Woodley). Jane opens up to Corey, who is played by Douglas Smith, at Amabella’s birthday party (portrayed by Ivy George). If you have not seen this episode yet be sure to catch up before next Sunday.

Episode five aired on July 7th and is titled, “Kill Me.” In this episode, Renata, played by Laura Dern, deals with the fallout from Gordon’s (Jeffrey Nordling) legal troubles and attempts to help Celeste. Also Bonnie (Zoë Kravitz), relives painful memories from her past.

The sixth episode is titled, “The Bad Mother” and will air on July 14. This episode is filled with many emotions. In this episode, Celeste is blindsided by Mary Louise. Gordon continues to disappoint Renata and Bonnie contemplates a solution to her mother’s suffering and her own going guilt. Ed, who is played by Adam Scott, entertains an unusual proposition before catching Madeline, who is played by Reese Witherspoon, in an unguarded moment and the Monterey Five feel the pressure of increased scrutiny of Perry’s death.

Finally, episode seven which is titled, “I Want to Know” is the season finale and will air on July 21. This episode sounds like it will keep you on the edge of your seat. In this episode, Celeste questions Mary Louise about a tragic even from Perry’s childhood while Madeline worries their lie is tearing the Monterey Five apart.
