I couldn’t be more proud of every single person in that crowd and around the world today. This community inspires me so much. Your courage, your bravery, your relentless pursuit of kindness. Celebrate yourselves today, and hopefully every day. I love you. #PRIDE 📸 @gr8images @gettyentertainment
Gaga also delivered a historical speech. Watch below.
On that note, recent surveys show that LGBTQ+ Generation Z’s are more politically engaged than the rest of the Z Generation. We should all be inspired by the tremendous courage and will to be the change during these revolutionary times.
Indeed, we should all be grateful to the LGBTQ+ community for standing up for freedom and equality. They have proven that believing in one’s place in the world—and fighting for it with love and perseverance—can move mountains. And as the world changes, we all hope that love will always remain.
Happy #PrideMonth2019. Let’s keep the ball rolling.
