GoldLink Releases Highly Anticipated Album ‘Diaspora’
After 2 years without an album drop and multiple track features, GoldLink is back with some heat of his own.
The rapper released the highly anticipated Diaspora on June 12th, 2019. The 14 track project is very much the GoldLink we all know and love but with a unique flair. Diaspora has a very diverse sound and includes 9 feature artists from Afrobeats artists Wizkid and Maleek Berry, pop sensation Khalid and the forever eclectic Tyler, The Creator.
Another cool bit about Diaspora is the cover art which features songstress Justine Skye, GoldLink’s girlfriend, and muse. Justine is featured on the front and back covers for Diaspora, which happens to be shot by Justine’s bff and model Hailey Beiber, making this the ultimate “bae goals” move.
Since releasing the album, GoldLink has also released a music video for his song “Zulu Screams” featuring Maleek Berry and BiBi Bourelly. The music video features amazing afrobeats dancers, bringing light to the genre and showcasing the many talents that come out of it.
