Tori Kelly Collaborated with Dan + Shay on Their Song ‘Speechless’
Tori Kelly has joined forces with vocal duo Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, also known as Dan and Shay. Dan + Shay’s song “Speechless” makes you want to fall in love every time you hear it. At this year’s Billboard Music Awards, in May, the duo performed their song “Speechless” with Kelly and had everyone in their feels. After the performance, they realized that a lot of fans were asking for a studio version of the song with Kelly. The three decided they were going to make a studio version happen.
On June 6, everyone’s prayers were answered when they announced that the studio version is now out everywhere. In Kelly’s Instagram post she wrote, “after our performance together of this song, you guys kept asking for it, so we had to do a studio version!!”
On Dan + Shay’s Instagram, they posted a photo of a group chat with the three of them and Kelly suggesting the idea. According to the texts, the fans were not the only ones who wanted this trio to make a studio version. We are so glad they did. Everything about this trio is amazing. Who knew this song could get any better? The talent that these three possess shines through in this collaboration.
For now, Dan + Shay are starting their tour today and Kelly will be performing at Summer Fest on June 30 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
