Ansel Elgort to Star in New TV Show
He’s set to play Jake Adelstein in the crime series Tokyo Vice.
Ansel Elgort is making his TV debut in a new TV show called Tokyo Vice. This project is being brought to life by Warner Media streaming service and it is reported that the first season of Tokyo Vice will have 10 episodes. Tokyo Vice is based on Jake Adelsteins’ 2009 nonfiction book Tokyo Vice. Elgort is set to play Adelstein, a journalist working for the Vice Beat newspaper, where he finds himself caught up the Tokyo Vice police squad. This show already sounds like an action-packed crime show.
Not only is Elgort starring as the main character but he is also serving as an executive producer. Tokyo Vice will be the first small-screen production for Elgort. You can catch him next on the big screen starring in the movie The Goldfinch and in the upcoming adaptation of West Side Story set to premiere December 2020.
