Chris Hemsworth Misses His Fat Suit
The Avengers: Endgame star tells fans about his good times in his prosthetic fat suit.
Chris Hemsworth is known for his fit body and for working out constantly. His large muscles and rock hard abs have most fans either wishing they could be him or with him. So it came as a shock when Hemsworth’s character, Thor, gained a large amount of weight in Marvel’s hit movie Avengers: Endgame.
In order to pack on the extra pounds in such a short amount of time, the actor put on a prosthetic fat suit to get the big beer gut he had in Endgame.
On The Graham Norton show, Hemsworth talked about his reaction to the 70-pound fat suit and also his fellow cast members’ reactions too. According to the Hemsworth, the fat suit got a lot of love from the cast. He said there were loads of cuddles happening on set with the fat suit. He also said Robert Downey Jr., the actor who plays Ironman in the Marvel franchise, gave his giant belly rubs, making Hemsworth feel like Santa Claus.
Chris Hemsworth’s Thor is supposed to be in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy 3 movie. We’ll have to see if Hemsworth’s enthusiasm for the fat suit will match the director’s.
