Ten Stars Who Celebrated Memorial Day This Year
Happy Memorial Day of 2019.
For over 150 years, Americans have been remembering and honoring those who have served or died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The holiday used to be on May 30th every year until it was decided to be held on the last Monday of every May, starting in 1971.
Here are ten celebrities who gave a shout out to those being honored.
Thank you to every person who has sacrificed to serve this country. Today I am thinking of our trans military service members in particular. Even as a repulsive admin rolls back your rights, you continue to show up for the loftiest of American ideals. Thank you #MemorialDay
