BTS’s performance on The Late Show has fans seeing the Beatles.

BTS is a K-Pop group that has been sweeping the nation. Fans have gone into hysterics for the South Korean sensation, just like fans did a long time ago when the young Beatles first came on the scene. So Stephen Colbert, host of The Late Show, invited BTS to perform and played around with the idea of BTS being the next Beatles.

On the show Wednesday, the screen lost its color and turned black and white for the night. Colbert had slicked back his hair and tried to imitate the famous show the Beatles first appeared on, The Ed Sullivan Show. Alluding the Beatles comparison more Colbert said the “new batch of mop-topped heartthrobs” from “across the pond… the big one, the one with Hawaii in the middle.”

BTS was dressed in all black suits just like the Beatles were, but their performance included a lot more synchronized dancing and way more Korean (actually all Korean).
