The Jonas Brothers have been making waves ever since their announcement earlier this year that the band was getting back together. The six-year hiatus did not seem to phase their fan base at all as their first single, “Sucker”, climbed right to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

A fun pop-rock song about being smitten with your true love, or least in the Jonas Brothers’ case, with their longtime partners. The song is a direct homage to their partners—Nick Jonas singing about his newlywed Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kevin about his wife of 10 years Danielle Jonas, and Joe about his fiancé Sophie Turner.

The trio sang this romantic single on SNL, but it wasn’t their new single that everyone is buzzing about. After about halfway through their performance, Joe suddenly said they’re “taking things back.”

The crowd lost their minds as the familiar beat of “Burnin’ Up” began to play. It has been over a decade since their classic pop single has been released, but it didn’t matter to the crowd as they screamed along to the music. The Jonas Brothers are truly back.
