Kristen Stewart and Laura Dern are teaming up to fool the world in the new movie J.T. Leroy. The film, based off of true events, tells to story of Savannah, played by Stewart, who is moving in with her brother to take on big city life. She then connects with his wife, Laura, played by Dern, who convinces Savannah to pose as the author to the book Laura wrote under the pen name J.T. Leroy. Savannah takes on this personality and hides her identity to become the mysterious and prolific young author behind her sister-in-law’s writing for years. However, it turns sour when the media starts discovering the truth and she has to question if she’d lost herself in J.T.

The film, directed by Justin Kelly, looks to be an amazing exploration of love, corruption, and identity. It is sure to be something all audiences can take away from. Just from the trailer, Dern and Stewart’s performances appear to be stellar.
