KJ Apa + Maia Mitchell Are Starring in Netflix’s ‘The Last Summer’
The two actors will star together in this new romantic comedy.
Netflix has so many romance movies that we adore, from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before to The Princess Switch. Now, Netflix is adding another movie to its repertoire and it will star none other than Riverdale’s KJ Apa and Good Trouble’s Maia Mitchell. Not only are they part of the cast but Tyler Posey, Jacob Latimore, and Halston Sage are starring alongside them.

The movie will follow the lives of teens that have just graduated from high school. They have one summer to decide who they want to be, what they want in life, and try out new relationships. K.J Apa will be playing Griffin, a student going to college to study business when his true passion is music, who tries his luck with Phoebe, played by Maia Mitchell. Halston Sage will play Erin, who struggles to choose between her high school sweetheart Alec, played by Jacob Latimore, and baseball player Ricky Santos, played by Tyler Posey. Based on the trailer, we can tell there will be drama, comedy, and all the feels. Netflix is really giving us what we want with this high school romcom. If it’s anywhere as great as To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before or Sierra Burgess is a Loser, we know we’ll love it.
