Tessa Thompson + Lily James Show Us What Sisterhood Really Means In ‘Little Woods’

Little Woods follows the journey of two sisters Ollie (Tessa Thompson) and Deb (Lily James) as they move towards bettering their lives and moving out of Little Woods, North Dakota. Their journey isn’t without obstacles but they are not afraid to break a few rules in the process.

The film is written and directed by Nia DaCosta and is her debut film. In 2018, Nia won the “Nora Ephron Award”  for Little Woods at the Tribeca Film Festival which is awarded annually to a female director with drive similar to Nora Ephron’s.
