The trailer features the story of Liz and Ted as Liz tries to get Bundy to tell the truth. Liz describes her feeling of guilt as she never said anything and refused to believe that he was a murderer. The trailer also depicts the trial and how Ted managed to be charming and “dreamy” even though women knew they should be afraid of him. There is also reference to the film’s title as we hear a voice state that “the killings were extremely wicked, shockingly evil, vile”. Based on the trailer alone, we can tell the film will be an unsettling one and that Zac and Lily’s performances will have us truly believing that they are their characters. Be sure to watch it when it premieres on May 3rd on Netflix as we know that it will be the next thing everyone will be talking about.
