Carrie Underwood Celebrates Her Husband’s Big Achievement
Mike Fisher has become an American citizen.
The 38 year-old National Hockey League player made the exciting announcement this past week. Mike celebrated his citizenship by posting a picture of him with an American flag on his Instagram story, captioning it, “Big Day! I’m officially American.” Originally from Ontario, Canada, Fisher celebrated with his wife, Carrie Underwood, just days after they celebrated her birthday. It was truly an event filled week for the couple as Fisher posted the Instagram photo below.

The couple have two kids together, Isaiah (4) and Jacob (2). Fisher’s citizenship comes after opening his clothing line Catching Deers in America. He advertised his brand on his Instagram, adding a very American pic with Carrie dressed in a cute, deer onesie.
Congrats to Mike on all his big accomplishments, and we can’t wait to see what the happy couple will do next.
