You Don’t Wanna Miss the 50th Anniversary Woodstock Festival

Woodstock

The three-day event lineup includes Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, and even some of the bands that performed at the original festival 50 years ago.

Get ready to live out your ultimate hippie fantasy. Woodstock 50 has announced the official lineup, which features over 80 artists from a wide array of music genres, including hip-hop, pop, rock, and country. A few of the bands, like Santana and Dead & Company, played at the original 1969 festival.

“We’ve lined up artists who won’t just entertain but will remind the world that music has the power to bring people together, to heal, to move us to action and to tell the stories of a generation,” Michael Lang, co-founder and producer of both the 1969 and 2019 Woodstock festivals, said in a press release. “Our hope is that today, just as in 1969, music will be the constant that can inspire positive change.”

Woodstock 50 takes place August 16-18 in Watkins Glen, NY. You can purchase your tickets starting April 22.
