Check Out the Trailer for ‘The Silence’ Starring Kiernan Shipka

The Silence is coming to Netflix in April and we’re counting down the days.In the upcoming film, the world is under attack from bloodthirsty, flying creatures who hunt their human prey by sound, and 16-year-old Ally (Kiernan Shipka of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), who lost her hearing at 13, has to seek shelter with a sinister cult to try to escape the creatures.

The movie is based on the novel of the same name, written by author, Tim Lebbon, which was released in 2015. Miranda Otto and Stanley Tucci will star alongside Shipka as her mother and father, while John Corbett, Kate Trotter, and Kyle Breitkopf fill out the rest of the cast. The movie appears to be the perfect blend of Bird Box and A Quiet Place and we could not be more excited.
