Billy Eilish’s debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, was released alongside a small pop up museum in LA.

Billie Eilish broke out into the music scene very early and very fast. Her debut single, “Ocean Eyes,” was released on Soundcloud in 2016 and immediately went viral. She was immediately named as Apple Music’s “Up Next” artist in 2017, and her career hasn’t slowed down since.

Eilish’s debut studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, was released on March 29th and had over 300,000 followers on Spotify within eighteen hours. The album has a haunting ambiance mixed with Eilish’s airy voice and genius lyricism, it was an immediate success. However, the singer/songwriter wanted her fans to connect to her music in more ways than one.

The Billie Eilish Experience also popped up in LA on the day of the album’s release. It is a small museum with a room dedicated to each one of the songs on the album. It turns the music into a multisensory experience, which could not have been a better way for Eilish to connect with her audience. She, herself, has synesthesia, a neurological condition that leads to every sound being mixed in with shapes, colors, textures, smells, and much more. Therefore, pairing every song with an accompanying sensory experience was perfect.

The Billie Eilish Experience will not be a permanent fixture, so make sure you go see it while you can and make sure to check out  When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? on Spotify.
