In September of last year, there was an announcement that Diggy would be continuing his role on the hit Freeform show. Diggy’s character quickly became a fan favorite for his character’s relationship with Jazz Forster (Chloe Bailey). Diggy expressed his excitement to Billboard.

“I’m thrilled to be joining as a series regular on grown-ish and to see Doug become an even bigger part of the close-knit gang. We left off the spring finale with some tension with Doug and Jazz’s relationship, but I’m so excited to see where the story goes,” told Billboard.

To celebrate the news, Diggy announced that he will be performing a medley of songs at the Freeform Summit.

“To celebrate becoming an even bigger part of the grown-ish fam, I’ll be performing a medley of songs at the Freeform Summit including ‘Goin,’ which is produced by Kaytranada. I’m excited to be a part of this event as both a performer and panelist, which celebrates giving a stage to everybody, no matter what race, gender, sexuality they love and are. The music I’m working on is very vulnerable, so it feels great to be able to celebrate that as we continue to tell these kinds of stories onscreen.”
