Juice WRLD Hits No. 1 With ‘Death Race for Love’

The Chicago rapper has his first No. 1 album on the Billboard chart, with “Death Race for Love”.

Last year, Jarad Higgins aka Juice WRLD rose to fame with a song sampling Sting’s “Shape of My Heart” with his own song “Lucid Dreams.” Sting called it a “beautiful interpretation“.

Juice WRLD reached the Top 5 with Goodbye & Good Riddance, and Wrld on Drugs, a mixtape released with Future.

The “Armed and Dangerous” rapper debuted at on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week with his sophomore solo LP, Death Race For Love.

According to Nielson, since its release, Death Race For Love moved 165,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release, which includes 176 million streams and 43,000 copies sold. The rapper has 6 songs from the album on the Billboard Hot 100.
